Overview
Our goal for Karma's onboarding process was to create a highly personalized shopping experience for every user. We aimed to seamlessly integrate personalization throughout the user journey by asking key questions about preferences, such as 'Who are you buying for?', 'What brands do you like?', and 'What kind of buyer are you?'. This information would inform customized recommendations, product offerings, and user interactions.

challenge
Achieving this level of personalization posed a significant challenge, as it required us to strike a delicate balance between gathering relevant user data and respecting privacy concerns. Moreover, ensuring that the onboarding process remained intuitive and engaging, while still eliciting the necessary information, presented its own set of hurdles.
